Azienda Agricola Giancarlo D'Angelo
Purchased in 1937 by the grandfather of the current owner, the farm covers over 200 hectares of land between the Tiber River and the Marcigliana Nature Reserve, and has always had a strong zoological bent. Crops include forage, cereals and legumes to feed the Mediterranean buffalo who produce the milk used for various types of mozzarella, ricotta, burrata and other cheeses, and that are sold in the farm’s own dairy processing facility located along the via Salaria (km 19,600), or delivered on order.
