SHE LIVES is an association, an idea lab, a project driver. An ideal setting for musicians, poets, writers and artists to elaborate their version of the contemporary, and to translate it into a new sound reality, to be performed and enjoyed in its only conceivable venue: the live concert. Founded by Fabiana Piersanti, Guido Barbieri and Alessio Elia, the association’s purpose is to familiarise their contemporaries with their music. Its main goal is to break through the stereotypical prejudice that contemporary music is for the ears and sensibilities of a select few, and do away with the distinction between “highbrow” and “lowbrow”, “art” and “utility” music.
